The Place Of Wisdom

I saw this scripture at the back of the shirt of a man this morning at the café and I bet he never knew the kind of revelation I got after reading it. I am still looking forward to thanking him whenever I get to see him again.

It is the place of wisdomand the path to understanding, I believe reading this passage of the Bible will throw more light on our path towards the search for the heavenly wisdom that surpasses all understanding. I know you will be blessed just as the Lord as blessed me through this man who wore the lovely T-shirt.

JOB @ 28 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Job Tells of Earth's Treasures

1"Surely there is a [a]mine for silver

And a place where they refine gold.

2"Iron is taken from the dust,

And copper is smelted from rock.

3"Man puts an end to darkness,

And to the farthest limit he searches out

The rock in gloom and deep shadow.

4"He sinks a shaft far from habitation,

Forgotten by the foot;

They hang and swing to and fro far from men.

5"The earth, from it comes food,

And underneath it is turned up as fire.

6"Its rocks are the source of sapphires,

And its dust contains gold.

7"The path no bird of prey knows,

Nor has the falcon's eye caught sight of it.

8"The proud beasts have not trodden it,

Nor has the fierce lion passed over it.

9"He puts his hand on the flint;

He overturns the mountains at the base.

10"He hews out channels through the rocks,

And his eye sees anything precious.

11"He dams up the streams from flowing,

And what is hidden he brings out to the light.

The Search for Wisdom Is Harder

12"But where can wisdom be found?

And where is the place of understanding?

13"Man does not know its value,

Nor is it found in the land of the living.

14"The deep says, 'It is not in me';

And the sea says, 'It is not with me.'

15"Pure gold cannot be given in exchange for it,

Nor can silver be weighed as its price.

16"It cannot be valued in the gold of Ophir,

In precious onyx, or sapphire.

17"Gold or glass cannot equal it,

Nor can it be exchanged for articles of fine gold.

18"Coral and crystal are not to be mentioned;

And the acquisition of wisdom is above that of pearls.

19"The topaz of Ethiopia cannot equal it,

Nor can it be valued in pure gold.

20"Where then does wisdom come from?

And where is the place of understanding?

21"Thus it is hidden from the eyes of all living

And concealed from the birds of the sky.

22"Abaddon and Death say,

'With our ears we have heard a report of it.'

23"God understands its way,

And He knows its place.

24"For He looks to the ends of the earth

And sees everything under the heavens.

25"When He imparted weight to the wind

And meted out the waters by measure,

26When He set a limit for the rain

And a course for the thunderbolt,

27Then He saw it and declared it;

He established it and also searched it out.

28"And to man He said,

'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom;

And to depart from evil is understanding.'"

In this portion of the Bible, Job maintained that the dispensations of Providence were regulated by the highest wisdom. To confirm this, he showed of what a great deal of knowledge and wealth men may make themselves masters. The caverns of the earth may be discovered, but not the counsels of Heaven. Go to the miners, thou sluggard in religion, consider their ways, and be wise. Let their courage and diligence in seeking the wealth that perishes, shame us out of slothfulness and faint-heartedness in labouring for the true riches. How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! How much easier, and safer! Yet gold is sought for, but grace neglected. Will the hopes of precious things out of the earth, so men call them, though really they are paltry and perishing, be such a spur to industry, and shall not the certain prospect of truly precious things in heaven be much more so? (Job 28:12-19)

counting in yoruba reequires back tracking, addition and subtraction
multiplication and division and all of this are embedded in the language and comes naturally with it
100 is not 100, it is a multiple of something and it is thus represented in that manner in the yoruba language
one hundred is called ogorun...

ogun is 20 while arun is 5

1:33amSAM
WELL ENGLISH IS PRETTY SIMPLE SO
DEM TINGS DNT REQUIRE DEDUCING SOLUTIONS
UNLESS UR DOIN QUADRATIC EQUATIONS

1:35amAbidemi
thats the beauty of the nature u've got..all the quadratic equations of nature becomes a natural part of life and you experience and apply them effortlessly

English language is very shallow language

and even the crown knows that, although they pride it cos it's the only one they've got

ekabo in yoruba means welcome

but th english language has no logical or right word for eku-ile

1:51amAbidemi
just be glad you are Nigerian Ayomide Adegunle

there is noting like it.

Oju Iwe (FaceBook)

We walk through thick and stroll through thick but in all of it we are never alone. A friend sitting right beside me just asked me a question, what do we stand to gain using Facebook? and I answered without giving it a thought "We use it to waste our time" and that was it.

I later sat down down to take a closer look at my answer and I Kinda found out that it was never a waste of time. I have met quite a number of wonderful people through facebook, found lost friends and got even closer to those that were never lost but were never around. We shared picture; new and old ones, bringing back good memories of the times we've share. We share notes, our thoughts and ideas travelling tru time and spaces, we talk about the things we do, while the world discovers who we are and a whole lot more. I thimk in all, what you get out of anything in life is just what you put into it.

Although Facebook as taken a large chunk of my time sometimes, I found out that it only took what I gave to it..and it as brought me wonderful opportunities I couldn't have found else where!

All it takes

First, it takes time.
Learning anything takes time. Becoming good models of grace, it seems, takes years! Like wisdom, it comes slowly. But God is in no hurry as He purges graceless characteristics from us. But we can count on this, for sure: He is persistent. Second, it requires pain. The "dust" in our room doesn't settle easily. I know of no one who has adopted a "grace state of mind" painlessly. Hurt is part of the curriculum in God's schoolroom. Third, it means change. Being "graceless" by nature, we find it difficult to be anything different. We lack it, we resist it, we fail to show it, but God never stops His relentless working. He is committed to our becoming more like His Son. Remember? "He who began a good work . . . will carry it on to completion" (NIV).

I came across this lovely piece from a sister and friend and i thought it will be lovely sharing it with everyone. It's the key, you've got it so use it.

A young man was getting ready to graduate from college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted. As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation, his father called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box. Curious, but somewhat Disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the
young man's name embossed in gold. Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said, "With all your money you give me a Bible?" and stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible.

Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make arrangements, he received a Telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things. When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search through his
father's important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. His father had carefully underlined a verse, As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words... PAID IN FULL.

How many times do we miss God's blessings because they are not packaged as we expected? Does this mean anything to you? Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for... IF YOUR GIFT IS NOT PACKED THE WAY YOU WANT IT, IT'S BECAUSE IT IS BETTER PACKED THAT WAY! ALWAYS APPRECIATE LITTLE THINGS; THEY USUALLY LEAD YOU TO ATTACHMENTS!

The Uniform Enigma

Just weeks ago, a bank security personnel shot a man around Akowonjo axis of Lagos state while fidgeting with is toy because it will be insane to still refer to guns in the hands of this people as a guns anymore, they no longer see it as one, he quickly claimed that the man he shot was an armed robber, but obviously the armed robber forgot his gun at home and decided to rob a bank alone with his bare hands and “Booli” in his pocket. This aroused the anger and wrath of the people and lead to a brutal chaos which resulted in the loss of a lot of the banks property and the near death beating of the Mopol whose life was saved by the arrival of more Mobil policemen on the scene. The people became the judge of the situation before law and order was restored, but nothing could be done to save the life of the obviously innocents soul, whose life was sacrificed on the altar of supremacy by the trigger happy Mopol. Something very similar to this happened again in my presence some weeks ago, but I couldn’t do a thing to save the situation but now another scene right before my very eyes, so I thought I will be fair for me to write about this particular one.

Once Upon a Time

It was a cool and lightly foggy morning, I was escorting my roomie to the bus stop where he was going to catch a bus that will take him to Evans Square, everything seems to be obeying the unnatural natural order until suddenly, some military boyz (too young and stupid to be called men) broke out on a hot chase of an okada rider right in the middle of the Herbert McCauley road very close to the WAEC office beside YabaTech. The okada was still very much in motion when they pounced on it and started beating the rider in the middle of the major road, caring less about the commuters he was taxing because he lost control of the bike and the two men behind him almost got hit by an oncoming vehicle who wouldn’t have imagined the bike was going to halt in the middle of the road. Thank God he slowed down; it would have been a different ball game entirely. The commuters were got injured from the crash but they cared even less because they only got busier with kicking and hitting the okada man, but before they could do more damage to the his body which was dripping with blood already, the biker took off with the last of his strength, and broke into a free run for is own dear life. 50% of the passer by were students and civilians while the remainder were boyz like the stupid ones already around so they joined in the mindless chase to catch the biker instead of trying to find and end to it.

Fleeing from an obvious grave if he had endured a little longer, he ran faster than his legs could carry him, scaling through a scour of soldiers who joined in the chase and somehow made his way into the compound of a near bye Nursery and Primary school (Mbari Mbayo) to seek refuge and probably an escape route. When I noticed that they still chased him into the school, it became very obvious that they will seize and continue with the beating, so like other passer by, we decided to get a little closer and see what we can do to save the situation. By the time we got to the gate of the school, they already had him but because of the presence of a lot of people and even some higher ranking military officers who moved towards the spot when they saw the crowd, they couldn’t continue with the beating him. Everybody got curious so we decided to ask them, what could he have done that lead to such a hot chase and illicit beating fashioned out of the uniforms they wore which was actually provided for them from the tasked paid by this okada man each time he buys a little of fuel at any filling station.

The biker explained that he incurred the wrath of uniforms only because he wouldn’t allow their bike to go ahead of him at the bye-pass that was along the road under the pedestrian bridge not because he didn’t want to, but because there was no way he could have drawn back is okada without the risk of being struck by an oncoming vehicle on the other end of the road. When the young soldier that led the chase was asked if the story was true, all he did was shake his head but had no better explanation for his unlawful act and neither did any of the others who joined the chase. The older military personnel’s released the okada rider with apologies and told him to leave the scene immediately. Everybody left as well to continue with their daily hustle and bustle while the okada man kept on prostrating and thanking everybody that came to his rescue, especially those that helped with moving his bike of the road and his passengers. What became of those military boyz needs no explanation, they did it and got away with it, turning the life a man they get paid to protect into a ping ball.

The bye-pass that led to the turmoil can take just one bike at a time because it is actually a break in the culvert separating the road, obviously the okada man got their before them, but because they had uniforms on they felt they could and should deal with him for not allowing them to go ahead of him because nobody can ask or stop them. At this time and age, in such civilization and in a democratic dispensation, men of the Nigerian Army still go about maltreating their fellow country men because they are empowered with military might. The sad part of it is that even students in the cadet corps and Man O War also get power drunk and over step their boundaries too many times and on different occasions. I have witnessed too many of such situations which always leads to chaos on campus and I was even harassed by one recently who told me I cannot claim the bed space I paid for because he won’t be comfortable with having an extra occupant in the room since I wasn’t their from the beginning of the semester. I also witnessed a soldier slap an elderly man riding an okada who obstructed him right in the middle of a perfectly fixed traffic jammed in Oshodi, although the Okada was obstructing him as well as every body, but he felts stronger in his camouflage and struck the man. Tell me, will hitting and kicking the man clear the traffic or make the bike disappear?

Uniforms come in different size and shapes and your position right now could be the uniform with which you oppress the already depressed. I believe it is time for us as people to start making some changes, let’s start thinking about others, let’s start reviewing our stands in wherever we find ourselves to ensure that where we are is not a uniform of oppression to the lives of the people around us, because with these uniforms, a lot of people maltreat, oppress and ridicule the helpless and voiceless in the society with their power, position and dispositions. Let us all shed our garment of pride and take on the cloak of prudence, let’s start seeing every man as a brother instead of living as two distance strangers, let our strength be made know in our diversity, our health in the weakness of others and our comfort in the way we handle the sorrows of others. If no man had stood for that Okada man that morning, he would have been beating so very hard for doing nothing. If you live in Lagos, Ibadan, Port Harcourt or any other part of Nigeria, you could or should have witnessed such situations while driving, walking, strolling or evening jogging, don’t just walk bye the next time you come across such situation on your way, stand for the next man, give your shoulders and put your head into it but not in a violent way, save the situation because the next day “E FIT BE YOU O!” don’t say it is impossible, ask QWEEN the comedian and you will believe what am say… :)

Our uniformed citizens are yet to learn their purpose in the society so abuse is inevitable, all we can do is pray, NO, intercede, TOO SMALL, organize crusade for them asking God to give them listening ears while we do our own part.

God Bless Naija.

Arsene Wenger

This is more like a football tale, but their is more to it.

It’s ARSENAL 1: HULL CITY 2 after a grueling match-up between the two teams at the big beautiful Emirates Stadium, the home soil of Arsenal FC. A well deserved defeat for Arsene Wenger but not a deserving result for the teeming supporters of Arsenal Football club, not just because the match was a home game, but basically because they deserve results for their support from Arsene who as turned deaf hears to his defensive problems and as turned the team to a French affair. I am yet to meet any lover of good football that as not kicked against Wenger’s pick of Gallas as a deserving defender or his unyielding belief in systems that only works for a while and not a season at least. A good he is, but instead of learning from his mistakes and weakness, he’s always of the opinion that they make him different and boast of it. Small wonder it is to see him boast that his team is yet to concede a goal from open play before this very game, that they’ve only been conceding goals from dead balls and corner kicks.

After I read that on www.Arsenal.com just days before the match, I wondered within my heart, what his going through this old Frenchman’s mind, is he forgetting the fact that even a own goal could lead to defeat or victory, is he forgetting that all goals either from dead or live balls are all legitimate and could kill a team. So right was my thought that the following day, the second goal came from a very beautiful set-piece that turned Gallas to more of a spectator than defender, this was the goal that lead to a painful home defeat and ended the dream or hopes of a victory or even a draw against a team like Hull City. The first goal was from a superb open play that resulted in a back breaking shot that I will rate my best so far this season.

Instead of accepting the fact that his team lacks defensive cohesion in handling dead-ball situations, he got comfortable with because he was yet to meet a formidable opposition or loose a crucial match, and he was also too proud to believe his self acclaimed jewel of Gallas was as bad as fans are yelling and instead of re-enforcing his defense line with good defender instead of depending on tired legs like Gallas who he brought into the team and made captain of the team at expense of two lovely players who had played out their heart for Arsenal with passion and love for the game and fans, and not just to satisfy his French savor with the French-connect syndrome that he’s introduced into the team, thereby breaking the heart of lovers of good football who as made Arsenal their choice for life.

Wenger was good enough to identify the weakness in his defense, in fact he was a good coach to have pin-pointed the specs and source, but instead of working to correct his weaknesses by working on defenders with extra care in dead-balls and set-pieces to better their performance in subsequent games, he was busy covering it with excuses of better result in open play situation, celebrating the nothing he as achieved as if he had just won the EPL and “gbosa!” the big blow came from where he least expected and a single goal from a set-piece made the difference after his open play superiority had already been defiled with a classic contender for the goal of the season.

The Big Question
The big question is, What is that little weakness you have been able to identify in you that you are trying to or as been covering up with lame excuses and baseless claims. Do you want to be caught with the stunner, when the match is over and lost before you will try fixing it up like Wenger? Take a good look at yourself and you will find it there, those little white lies you’ve been telling yourself (they dubbed it white lies to make it sound nice, lie na lie), it only leads to a bigger one and then to outright defeat, destruction and death. Nothing good will ever emanate from such situations. Take a closer look at yourself and you will instantly identify this dead ball situation in your life, business, career, marriage or relationships with others. Don’t try to cover it up with thin sheets that will erode and wear off in no time, though it might bring you satisfaction now, but believe me; it leads not to just defeat but death. Don’t try to cover up with the results of your open play, rather get good defenders like Danny Shittu and get to work, or work worker and workest on the ones you have until you are sure they will produce desire results, work on it until the “ kudie kudie” as been brought into perfection. Go all out with the winning attitude and renewed trust in your defense and win all the EPL matches in your life with valor like the Arsenal of old (unbeaten run champions). Never be contempt with being a Wenger, rather work on it and become a Winner.

I don’t just watch football for the fun of it, I learn from it and I am glad I could share it with you. I ought to have posted this weeks a go, but i could not due to circumstance that deemed it fit for now. I hope you can answer the big question from here.

Ciao!

I am sorry I have been off for a while now, it ain't my very fault at all, been strong and at thesame time busy with school. But I got something from God that I must share with His People.

Divine Protocol:
Working and Operating in the light of the scripture so that you don't rupture God's plan and purpose for your life. (Phrase by Leke Alder, Definition from Bishop David Oyedepo)

I also got a wonder Rhema that i must share with you:
Proverb 13:22
A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and
the wealth of
the sinner is laid up for the just.

God Bless you all, I love you guyz...

the Platform

As I pick the keyboard to write this morning, I am still listening to the voice of Leke Alder from my MP3 player that as been glued to my ears since I got home yesterday. I struggled hard to listen to all of the teachings that were thought yesterday because I was so busy doing a lot of things but I am so glad I was at the meeting because the things I learnt were much more greater than what I had bargained for, and there is no better way to celebrate the Independence of the most populous, blessed (mentally, physically, spiritually) and desirable black nation on the surface of the planet Nigeria. If I had gone anywhere else or sat at home, I wouldn’t have had such revelation of the things of the spirit that are embedded in me through Christ, and I wouldn’t have been blessed with the realization of the Divine Protocols that are laden in the very simples principles of life that must be followed diligently to attain spiritual heights and experience financial emancipation. (Psalm 122)

I went with the mind of getting a tool for operation but I ended up being blessed with a Corporation. Never have I experienced the fullness of God to such an optimal level but now that I did, I have the very reason to make it mine through the Rhema of God which births signs and wonders and go all out to possess my possessions that are my inheritance in Christ Jesus. I am still very pregnant with blessings and I will be more than glad when I deliver because I won’t have to invite you to the christening, you will hear about it and you will be there to rejoice with me in God’s presence.

The Creative Imagination of God that was placed inside of me is the Breathe of Life and that sets me apart. I am a product of the creative imagination of God, I am the dream of that man we all know as God, I am His image and likeness, so if I am alive today kicking, living and pre-existing in His dreams and now alive in the realization of these dreams to serve the purpose for which he created me, then I can ASA and BARA and will ASA and BARA because I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, and because the creative imagination of God (Breathe of Life) that is inside of me as been activated to call things that are not as though they were.

The Right Reason

I was reading a post on Deolu's blog this morning and while scooping through is archives, something very interesting caught my attention so I decided to take a thorough look at it. The post was titled " "The things I used to do" I dropped this post as a comment on that page, but I felt more people should have a feel of this post and my comment so i decided to fix it here as well.

Doing something simply because you like it is never a good enough factor for doing it, because something more interesting might pop up tommorow and all you can do is dump it and go for the next interesting idea.

It is never worth doing if it's just because of you, but believe me you will never quit doing something if its because of someone your love or hold very close to your heart. No wonder God said we should love others they way He loves us, you will find out that people commit suicide while some some put their lives on the line for the sake others.

According to research, most suicide victims commit suicide not basically because of regret, shame or failure, they do so because they don't love themselves enough, so they do it for the love they have for others or a group of people. It is either as a result of Cognitive constriction which is a mental constriction, such as rigidity in thinking, narrowing of focus, tunnel vision, and concreteness. "(doing somethin just because of your personal interest in it is Cognitive Constriction and that is why you end up aborting it for something else.. (suicide)), Lost of interest or desire in something due to physical inabilities such as visual impairment, neurological disorders, and malignant disease or as a result of depression. I am not here to talk more about suicide.

The reasons for suicide are deep and long standing. The teen that attempted suicide right after his girlfriend broke up with him or the teen that contemplated suicide after losing her job probably had a history of low self-worth that was magnified by the upsetting event and the Real love of what was lost. (youthsuicide.ca)

Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

If you are doing something you love today and the underlying factor is not because it adds value to the life of someone out there, I will advise that you re-orchestrate the blue print and design it in a way it will be a blessing not to only you , but to the lives of others as well. The way human beings are wired however is that your greatest motivation will be connected to doing something for someone else - being of help, rendering service, being a blessing, e.t.c. It is essential that we find that desire we truly want to meet and connect it with the activity love and want to do.

It is suicide to stop just because you don't like doing it anymore, if it's not just for you, then you will never stop for the ones you love.

Origin of Man: The good and the better account

Scientist believe that man originated as a result of evolution from simple organisms some billions of years ago, that evolution started as the needs arises for organisms to adapt to their environments. So man evolved from the stage of simple organisms to the stage of amphibians through to the stage of Homo sapiens sapiens, and along the evolution line brachiating from the reptilian to the amphibian and aves stages. From fossils in record, millions of years ago the homo stage appeared (evolved). Looking at the homo evolutionary history and not forgetting their forebearers the australopithecines, we could infer that taking into account the vivid changes from Homo habilis to the stage of Homo sapiens; "man has indeed evolved (grown). With specific information given about dates from radiocarbon datings and explicit explanations given about its cranial growth, not eliminating his obvious changing physic (i.e. changes in the tooth cups patterning and even his hip joint) ability to stand erect (homo erectal age).

It is my opinion that no account of man’s origin or evolution should be counted as irrelevant or useless as each account almost gives the same explanation except in a different ways.

According to the bible God created man in his own image after his likeness, but it was not stated that man was God's first creation; in fact man was the last he created and that was after he has made every other thing. First God created light and separated it from darkness thereby initiating seasons, which explains the scientific opinion about changes in the atmosphere, then the combinations of different atoms to form life on the sea(in water) the bible also says that God created sea animals and plants and all this existed before man came into being. Now considering these two accounts we can draw inferences that will make us understand that one account is just a better explanation of the other. In the beginning both accounts being considered agree that the earth was without form and void (misty and dark), and that there was a change as a result of which life sprung up on earth. According to the bible, God initiated a change and to the scientist some things happened which caused the change in the earth temperature and made the air spirals to conjure then forming the present different features that the earth possesses i.e. the land, sea, atmosphere and sky. Let there be light, the "Big Bang Theory".

According to "Genesis chapter one verse six" God made air to separate into two parts, the water below (sea) and those above (sky). Due to the changes of atmospheric conditions of the earth the scientist believe that at a certain time it became conducive for atoms to combine and form life and thus the stages of evolution is explained. The bible also takes this into account and reading through Genesis chapter one it could be explained that God created light the first day, sky the second day, dry land and plants the third day, the forth day sun, moon and stars, fifth day fish and sixth day birds land animals and man, on the seventh day he rested.

Since scientist argue about the time difference and insist that the creation story of seven days could not be, it should be considered that biblically a day to God is like ten thousand years to man and we also know that the biblical account of creation was not recorded history, but a revelation; considering that a day in God sight is equal to ten thousand years to man, therefore we could say that the evolution (creation) of man to seventy thousand years or more and also putting in mind that the number of days from the time of man's creation to his fall was not stipulated: it could have taken several thousand of years or even more.(The radio carbon dating do not give accurate dates).

The cause of life that the scientists try to explain is God, and the time estimation that the bible does not explain is explained in the scientific datings

Arise o! BlogPatriots, Nigeria Calls Obey

My ability to translate and transmute the heaviness that was dumped in me into a positive confession and concession when I told someone I was going to a bloggers conference and he discouraged me as been justified. Getting here today to find all my blog stars all together in one room is the cake, but the icing is meeting a capable Alhaja at the conference. It gave me such a huge satisfaction that can never obey the law of diminishing returns. She reminded me of a very good friend of mine who as always believed so much in my writeability, a Hajia like her who as always been the force pushing me to write, write and write, in fact she brought me a World Bank Diploma of Participation in the this year's World Bank essay contest because she was the one that told me about the essay, read through the writing and ensured that I submitted on time. I can’t stop thanking her; in fact she renewed my blogging prowess. SOLA RUNSEWE, thank you oo! I just hope you get to read this post.

Back to the Conference. A lot topics were discussed at the conference but what really struck me was Gbenga's opining the possibilities embedded in branding our personality and re-branding out nations Nigeria through blogging. When I 1st started blogging, I never really had an idea of what I was doing, but recently I started reading up a lot of things about blogging and I was amazed about the things I discovered about the effects blogging has been having on decisions and choices of a lot of people and companies in the world. I discovered various policy changing controversies and that were raised and railed through blogging which as produced desired results. Mcchronicles as been a pain in the ass of McDonald the biggest fast food company in the world and the interesting part is that it was started by a group of dis-satisfied customer that had problems with their straw dispenser which they believe transfer germs that could cause infections. Another is the uploaded clip of a dell product exploding on YouTube; this has forced Dell computers to withdraw 4.1million of the defective model from the market. Who would believe somebody toying with his laptop on is Dining table at home could force such a change on an industrial giant like Dell.

Many companies now target blogs that publish posts related to their products for driving followership, advertising and educating their customers on their product and its usage, others attach blogs to their websites to simulate customer interaction and synthesization about their products and services. If blogging is being used to effect changes in the quality of services, products and policies of large enterprises and industries, then it can be used to re-orchestrate the tune the world is playing about Naija our motherland, we can make her the bride of other nations of the world through blogging, we can reposition her in the mind of the world with what comes out of our heart. I think we spread too many of our dirty linen outside (SUN NEWSPAPER a case study), so we have to start cleaning up our acts by spreading our creative acts on the lines (internet) for the world to see. I came across a group on Facebook called "The Africa They Never Showed You" and also read Leke Alder's speech Titled "What is your strategy Africa " I bet you need to read this post to un-earth the wrong info CNN as been telling the world about Nigeria and Africa as a whole. Imagine CNN having just Jeff Koinage as corresponding for Africa, I mean the whole of Africa. A thousand Jeff cannot handle Nigeria let a lone West Africa... you can actually read the full analysis here...>>> All we get are white lies well coated in different flavors.

It is also true that men had fought for the truth in the past with sticks and axes tooth and nails for what they stand for, who they are and what they believe. From stones to darts, arrows and bows, spears and clubs, guns and bombs and even now nuclear and biological weapons, but believe me, non of this men ever had their foot print stronger in the sand of time or bolder in the diary of change than the great men who fought with their voices and the great men of honour who signed the treaties of peace. The Pen is really mightier than the swords and now it's in your hands, what will you do with it? Are going to continue to hold back even with the deadliest weapon of warfare in your possession? Are you going to continue to sit down and watch while the white world continue to write your history and story for you in blatant white lies or will you rather stand up and re-write your history and story for the world to see.

These white lies as always been in the air since the pre-colonial era and it continued till the post-era even when slavery was gone and Liverpool as apologized for its pact in slavery, they kept the lies in the air. Now is the time to come out and start writing the truth about us in BOLD letters, Black is BOLD and it is the beginning and the definition of the existence of man. It's neither pink nor white, this are genetic degradation of who we are by stanch and unseen agents of denudation so don't let that which as been degraded draw you down, determine, discredit or dictate how the real you operates, lets write out our hearts to break the limitations they are trying to place on their source. We are The real and complete package although none is less than the other. Don't allow anyone to swap their status for yours because of that which they can not attain which you have achieve by choice and not decision, let no man help you tell the world who you are, say it out loud and proud like Fela or 2pac will do but without the smokes in the air or the guns under your belt but with that which is mightier than sword and doubles as your voice.

It's 80-20%

A very close friend and Sis forwarded this to me and I felt good about it so I thought it will be nice sharing it with you as well. It's a THought Provoking food for THOUght for the day, weeks, months and years to comes to come so please read it like a love letter from that fine...:) .
The beauty of the 20% mark is that it's always like the green zone with highest level of attraction. Lot only saw the 20% of Soddom before he went into it, Essau saw the 20% in the porridge and traded it for the 80% which was his birth-right.

In most cases, especially in relationships, you will only get 80% of what you NEED
and you will hardly get the other 20% that you WANT in your relationship.

There is always another person (man or women) that you will meet and that will offer you the other 20% which is lacking in your relationship that you WANT
And believe me, 20% looks really good when you are not getting it at all in your current relationship.

But the problem is that you will always be tempted to leave that good 80% that you know you have, thinking that you will get something better with the other 20% that you WANT

But as reality has proven, in most cases, you will always end up with having the 20% that you WANT

and loosing the 80% that you really NEED and that you already had.

Be careful in deciding between what you WANT and NEED in your life.

Adultery happens when you start looking for what you don't have. "Wow, this girl in my office is a real looker. But it's not her Wynona Rider features that got me. I'm crazy about her because she's also understanding, intelligent, tender - so many things that my spouse is not"

Somewhere along the way, you'll find a woman or a man who will be more charming or sensitive. More alluring. More thoughtful. Richer. Have greater sex appeal. And you will find a woman or man who will need you and pursue you and go loco over you more than your spouse ever did.

Because no wife or husband is perfect. Because a spouse will only have 80% of what you're looking for.

So adultery takes place when a husband or wife looks for the missing 20%.

Let's say your wife is melancholic by nature.
You may find yourself drawn to the pretty clerk who has a cherry laugh no matter what she says:

"I broke my arm yesterday, Hahahaha . . .."

Or because your wife is a homebody in slippers and pajamas, smelling of garlic and fish oil,

you may fall for a fresh-smelling young sales representative that visits your office in a sharp black blazer,

high heels, and a red pencil-cut skirt

Or because your husband is the quiet type, your heart may skip a beat when you meet an old college flame, who has the makings of a talk show host.

But wait! That's only 20% of what you don't have.

Don't throw away the 80% that you already have!

That's not all. Add to your spouse's 80% the 100% that represents all the years that you have been with each other.

The storms you have weathered together. The unforgettable moments of sadness and joy as a couple.

The many adjustments you have made to love the other. The wealth of memories that you've accumulated as lovers.

Adultery happens when you start looking for what you don't have.

But faithfulness happens when you start thanking God for what you already have.

But I'm not just talking about marriage.

I'm talking about life!
About your jobs.
About your friends.
About your children.
About your lifestyles.

Are you like the economy airline passenger that perennially peeks through the door of the first class cabin, obsessed with what he's missing? "They have got more leg room! Oh my, their food is served in porcelain! Wow, their seats recline at an 80% angle and they've got personal videos!"

I guarantee you'll be miserable for the entire trip! Don't live your life like that. Forget about what the world says is first class. Do you know that there are many first class passengers who are miserable in first class –

because they are not riding in a private Lear Jet?

The Koko of This Message is!!!?

Start appreciating what you have right now,
wherever you are !!!

Juvenile Syndrome

The Syndrome

The word syndrome is defined as a collection of signs and symptoms that together form a condition with a known outcome, and which requires special treatment. And teenagers are adolescents, a juvenile between the onset of puberty and maturity. From this definition, a teenager is not a child between the ages of 13-19, but the stages between puberty until you attain maturity. Too many teenage 40yrs old roaming the planes of this planet, if you are caught in this trap, too bad you are still a teenager.

Scheming?

Pension schemes are failing and gradually turning to Tension schemes.

It’s not only in Nigeria or Africa. This subject actually flashed through my mind yesterday after helping and elderly citizen with printing of documents and stuffs pertaining to his pension and arrears that as accrued over the years for serving not the Nigerian government this time, but the American government. Although he looks okay on the outside, smiling and glowing, but the contents of his mails and conversations over the months with the people that are responsible for paying his pension and entitlements sounds more like a tug of war rather than just a ask and yea shall be given situation, he made no secrets of it although he was beaming all over. The father of my brother’s wife seems to be caught up in the same situation after serving the British government most of his life, getting his pension seems to be more rigorous than the real work he did to earn the status of a pensioner under the crown. It’s happening the world over and not only in Nigeria, the pension schemes of this world are failing either private or public and obviously no Babylonian principle can savage the situation because it is not a dilly doll factor that can be re-enacted like a stage play.

Lecturers are going on strike in Nigeria on issues of arrears and pensions, The Daily Champion Newspaper reported the death of one University lecturer in Calabar during a peaceful protest preceding their proposed 3days warning strike …Read story>>.

Another story on the pages of This Day… newspaper informs about the inability of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), to pay over N664 million arrears for the past 23 months. Other stories include how the US government needed to cough out $85bn to rescue almighty American International Group Inc (AIG) from bankruptcy …Read more>>.

Today

* Hawaii pension system investments fall

* Pension schemes face ₤70bn shortfall

(UK’s defined benefit pension schemes face a ₤70bn funding shortfall after plunging ₤7bn further into deficit)

* British Airways pension deficit

(The British Airways (LSE: BAY.L - news) pension schemes have a £1.74bn hole in them, the trustees announced this morning in the their annual update)

The funding position of the New Airways Pensions Scheme at 31 March, 2008 was 83%, equating to a deficit of £1.5bn.

The Airways Pension Scheme finding position at the same date was 96.5%, corresponding to a deficit of £240m.

Now we all know that it is not only the Nigerian airways or Nigerian Army that is having problems with paying the pension of its retirees, it is a global thing and the situation is not getting better because there is no way any pension scheme in this world will be able to pay the number of retirees that will be available in the world by the year 2025. What are your plans? Are you planning to get employed by the various ministries where you do nothing throughout your career and wait till your old age to get pensions that will never come? Are you planning to join the long queue of retired men and women that keep dropping off like a pack of card when lining up to collect their pension checks that comes once in two years? Are you planning to become one of those old men that will be caught in the shades of tree, queuing inn queering situations to revalidate their names in the master list of pensioners? It is true that they served their motherland to the best of their abilities, but there is a BUT…

Working is good, in fact it is the leeway into developing yourself and creating that which you want from the resources you have accrued over time which are now embedded inside of you, your learn the vital lessons of business provided you are not working at Alausa Secretariat et al.. and this gives you an edge and prepares you for the moment you will break away from the chain of employment, but are you planning to put your hard earned money and resources into schemes that as failed over time, they give it different names and sweeten it with different layers of coating and sweet words, they even tell you that you can retire before you are 30yrs old if you give them your money, but come to think of it, AIG is going bankrupt and you are still taking your funds to IB…. There is a Yoruba adage that says
                                     “
Atéwo éni kin tan ni jé
meaning
“you can never be swindled by what you do with the palms of your hands because you will always see it and know whether it’s working or wobbling”, why not invest in yourself, nurture and watch it grow with the palms of your hand, start something your future could depend on, determine the your future by starting something you can always call your own rather than wait for that fund manager to determine what you get.

I know the question in the mind of many is “where do I get enough money to start my own business?” I think the right person to answer your question will be Leke Alder, although not everyone is going to start his/her business with N17:50k like he did, and even the DRAGON’S DEN millionaires are not yielding to the unrealizable but great business plans been submitted by teeming number of fortune hunters coming on the programme, but you can start something for yourself, money doesn’t determine how far your can reach or how rich you get, your Self-worth and Network determines your Net-Worth. You can take a cue from THE PHILOSOPHY OF UNDER ACHIEVEMENT in realizing your goal by making God’s word a standard for your life.

I was just like you before now and I can show you how to get better, it’s in your bible, those books and in the life of exemplary people living around you, great men of valor who lived in the face of impossibilities and made it possible. Their lives are epistles, some read it and left it on papers, while others did and re-printed it in the heart of men with the things they say and their actions. You can share in it or even become a part of it, in actual fact, something is about to happen and I will be glad if you can come join me. It is called THE PLATFORM and it’s happening here in Lagos, organized by Covenant Christian Center which is pastured by Poju Oyemade (not talk say Na me tell you but Bishop Oyedepo will be there). If you live in Lagos, here is a golden opportunity to unlock the secrets of entrepreneurship and if you live elsewhere, I bet you the journey is worth it. It’s taking place on the Island and it’s happening on 1st of October, 2008. If you need more information on the Platform, drop a comment and I will get back to you with all necessary information.

As for me, I will be at the venue a day before the event (from advice lol...J). It’s a scheme so don’t get it twisted.

A Blink Away...

A New Beginning is just a thought away. Did you know that life is 10% what happens to *you* and 90% what you do with what happens to You Think about it for a moment; you can't control life but you do have a say about how You respond to what happens in your Life. Over time, your level of abundance and prosperity will unfold in direct proportion to your level of personal growth. So, you have to ask yourself this question, "how much is it worth for me to grow?"

The King of kings may allow disappointments, pains, agonies, shame, defeats and other difficulties in your life to serve His purpose. No matter how bad that situation may be, God is at work in it. Look out for Him and He will see you through! – EA Adeboye

Judas was a necessary pain in the ass of Jesus Christ, so He bore it and gave the world salvation, bear that situation because it is there so that the glory of God might be revealed and fufilled in your life and situation. Remember the story of the man that was blind from birth....It's for a special Miracle God is about to do with your life..

I Dey Go Village Go Farm!

Although this sounds more like a joke but it is one of the options I have been giving a critical consideration since return of the strike factor into Yaba College of Technology, different level or should I say different caliber of strikes and seizure in the academic process that as almost left the academic community in a complete outer darkness and irreconcilable shamble.

The countless number of strikes that YabaTech as embarked over the years as turn a good number of students to liars and incredible people amongst friends and folks. How do you explain it to your friends or even foes that you got admission into a school in 2003 for a two years program that was suppose to end in 2005 but yours actually ended in march 2006, your Industrial attachment was meant to be for a year but you had to stay another year to conclude yours because the school Management felt that WAPOGA was more important than your academic career and finally you resumed on 2nd of January 2008 for your HND only to spend a whooping seven month in school for the 1st semester amidst strikes from the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) and Non Academic Staff Union (NASU) and on resumption of the second semester, you started with a warning strike and from ASUP and after two weeks of lectures, ASUP is back on a full scale indefinite strike and today is 12th of September and you are yet to know when the next semester begins or when the strike will end. The beauty of the whole situation is that, you don’t get to know why everybody is on strike…loll :) I can remember chating with a one of the students from Ondo state who works with the security outfit of the college telling me that his dad called him a liar because he kept telling the old man back in Ondo state that school is on strike, He said the old man told him to come home if he has been expelled from school rather than sit down in lagos and do nothing. i don't blame the old man, i am finding it hard to believe him myself, although we are in the same shoes.

I am not complaining about the situation because I know that all things work together for good for they that love God, and I pray for the better love of Christ everyday of my life; so I know I am secured. But what about the lives of the general student populace, who will be ready to employ an undergraduate whose school is in strike, what will the young minds that are admitted into higher institutions of today be doing at home or thinking about their lives, I know say no be all of us go go school but what about the selected few whose future is constantly being toyed with in the balance by the uncaring situation surrounding them?

As for me, I done talk am before, I Dey Go Village Go Farm and if you are tired of this situation, stop complaining, come join me and let’s plant together, don’t let any Owoso of this world or Yar Adua’s health determine what happens to you, make the U-turn, don’t join the queue, form a new line… Thank God I dey always follow my father to the farm those days when we had him farming on a larger scale…

The Way Things Are!

It's about Yaba College of Technology, a school that has been under the uncaring leadership of Olubunmi Owoso for the past seven years. Just four session as been completed during His tenure, only a few of the students that left the college can be referred to as graduates because too many are yet to go for there NYSC. The Institution as been academically inactive for too long because academic activity as been on for less than 6months in three years. Unnecessary update of academic calendar in 2006, WAPOGA in 2007 which lasted longer than necessary, indefinable indefinite strike in early 2008 by lecturers, another strike ensued immediately after the school 1st semester exams ended on July 4th and NOW we are on strike again and they are threatening to send students out of the college with Policemen.

Who is really in-charge is the question I can't find answers to? Who funds the School? Who determines what happens? Who cares about the lives of the students on campus? Who cares about their future that is being marred rather than molded? What is the function of the college itself? I think from the definition of yabatech, it is to create nauseating nuisance and complicate the lives of the students they admitted initially for academic excellence. I don't know the definition to give this situation, but I think it is better to see the administration of this College as the definite Judas' God as place on our path to destined success. What else can we think, what else can I think when the people that are meant to be the custodian of our desires to succeed are people of questionable character... Our own very Leader as been invited twice in less than eleven months by the EFCC for interrogation on embezzlement/fund miss-management related issue...
Owoso.
Owoso..
Owoso...

I have more to say about this situation but I think I must drop it like it's hot for now!
For all I know is that all things work together for me because I love GOD!

My Name is ...BabaOlowo...(continued)

For those that read my last post, this are the personal lessons I learnt from my childhood exploit and relating it to the principles of success that I have discovered and how to operate within it to get desire result, I have decided to highlight the two outstanding carriage that I believe anyone can leverage on to achieve insurmountable positive results.

Many a time I wonder, what was really going through my young naive mind back then, how did I get the purse fattening inspiration out of the subconscious and why did I unknowingly choose to beat it into the heart of the world around me and make them call me “BabaOlowo”. I paused to imagine that somewhere inside my childhood I did all these without knowing and suddenly, out of my ordered reasoning came the answer, I found out why and how my young mind was able to capture the such revelation out of the subconscious and how I was able to engrave it permanently in the heart of the world present around me; that which is yet to unfold.

A guiltless mind, a pure and unknowing heart devoid of carnal sway, the hidden man of the heart and Persistence, these were the two key I used in unlocking the impossible world.

The hidden man of the heart
The little Abidemi that got the revelation of “BabaOlowo” is the hidden man that was within his heart, carefree and undeterred, open enough to receive the things of the spirit. This is the real man and the exact nature of the heart God works with. There must be a discovery of the inner man in order to receive the revelation of the things of the spirit from God. More of the reason Jesus Christ was always using the little ones as a yardstick, a reference point for anyone that desires to walk and work with HIM. The hidden man of the heart is like a babe, pure in spirit, meek and incorruptible, without vain thoughts or lust of the flesh, a fertile mind made by God to receive seeds that will produce God’s kind of result. No wonder he said in His words “Blessed are the Pure in spirit, their is the kingdom of God” (beatitudes), “Unless a man be born again (become like a newborn), he can not see the kingdom of God” and “Assuredly I say unto you, unless you become converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of God” (Mat 18:3 KJV), without a heart that can receive the things of the spirit, no man can become kingdom focus, it is therefore paramount for all men to become like babes to become blessed here on earth and inherit the kingdom of heaven. Discover the hidden man of the heart, become like a child in His presence, just like the 2years old Abidemi that discovered and became BabaOlowo and you will be surprised at the ease with which the things of the spirit will be revealed to you and you will do exploit.

Persistence
Persistence the birth place of perseverance and long-suffering, a fruit of the spirit is an important key to experiencing and exploring the divine revelations you will receive when you become like a babe. Abidemi ensured that his purse was always getting fat enough to jingle in the process of creating is desired BabaOlowo. This purse fattening process was not just a gradual one, but it was a practice that he executed consciously even in the subconscious to get the desired result, he persevered unconsciously and his persistence paid off to the extent that when he outgrew the act, he was still BabaOlowo, he kept telling the world around him not just with his mouth, but with is actions, always using the fat jingling pocket to back his claims up until it got registered into their heads that hey! This is BabaOlowo. I can remember having friends who never got to know my other names, only few got curious about it and the few that did, always forget the others because they seem to see anyone calling me any other name than BabaOlowo, my persistence paid off and so did the persistence of others.

Mohammed Ali became the greatest Boxer of all time not because his punches were the heaviest or because he threw more punches than any other boxer in the world or because he won more boxing match than every other boxer, but rather he consistently instilled it in the heart of other boxers and the world that he’s the greatest boxer, he said it so many times that other boxers were intimidated by his confidence and were almost timid or even some became furious and went into fights with rage rather than purpose, and Ali was brave enough to backed claims up with hard and potent punches that took him from Good to Great. Persistence brings result, the power behind consistently confessing what you desire into your life and backing it up with corresponding actions brings you the desire result, say it loud now and clear, confess it to yourself, let your ears and your heart get used to listening to you saying it, and you will be surprised with the ease with which it comes into reality.

Persistence a process that requires whole lot of sacrifice, determination and dedication, but the proceed thereof compared to the process is like reaping a plantation worth of harvest from sowing a seed, the glory of the latter is always greater than that of the former and limitless too. Persistence pays and it worked while I wasn’t even conscious of it, it worked for Mohammed Ali, Martin Luther Kind Jr. shared his dreams with the world with persistence, Napoleon Hills dedicated a whole chapter of a book that took him 50years of study to right to persistence (Think and Grow Rich), Nightingale preached persistence, Bob Proctor did, Warren Buffet said nothing works better than persistence and even me self dey talk am. If the result of hard work is more work like I rightly heard it, then persistence is the key to that desired destination, the only “expo“ to guaranteed result, I am still in the practice, more result to come. Like we sing the song during fellowships when I was a kid

“I will never let you go
Unless you bless me
I will never let you go
Until you bless me”

Now that I am grown up, I have broken into a bigger dimension of understanding of the things of the spirit that births productivity and result; I am working on a broader understanding that surpasses even the Babylonian principles. All I needed to delve into this realm was God, and all you also need is God.

I am world’s greatest, don’t ask me why, say what you think!

My Name Is ..BabaOlowo..

In my own world, the real world where I grew up, my hood where I had my childhood and where I still live with rustic folks, friends and family all around me, everyone calls me “BABAOLOWO” yeah, that is my name!

For the those reading this post that are not Yoruba Language savvy, I will do you the honor of letting you in on the meaning of the word . “BabaOlowo” is just Me, Myself and I and the meaning is The Richman. You might be curious and want to know how I got that lovely name, here is the story and I hope you enjoy it and pick up something from it.

Once upon a time, there live in Lagos Nigeria, a young, handsome man Julius Oluranti Oderinlo and his young, dashing, elegant, desirable, adorable, lovely beautiful wife, Florence Oluwafunmilayo Oderinlo. They live with their four adorable kids but they felt living to replenish the earth was ideal as God as commanded so they went to “Eledunmare” in prayers and supplication for another Godly seed and Osimiri answered their prayers and gave them a perfect gift through His grace for the world wide manifestation of the riches of Christ in glory and a father of many nations, via the covenant he had concerning him through Abraham. Conceived and lived within for 9months, he was born on the 16th of April in the year of our Lord 198(number of Grace)
Numbering 001. He was christened Abidemi Olanrewaju Oluwamayowa Anthony but he also felt the significance of the number “5”, felt four was not enough and he added “BabaOlowo”, exercising dominion in his subconscious and at a very tender age of 2. A confirmation of the distinct grace he is to enjoy on his path to becoming the riches of God in His glory on earth, a name so significant and rare, revealed to his subconscious by God in His divinity. Although he was young, guiltless, without the perception of what lies ahead of him on his path to his prophesied Greatness and Riches in Christ, he went all out, shouting it out loud and clear to the world around him, “Emi ni BabaOlowo” (I am the Richman), the great one, knowing and believing it is "Uzoamaka" all the way no matter how rough or tough the road seems to be.

The exact date it all started, I knoweth not, but the year and how I was told by my mum and “Iya Agba”, and the complexity of it all still baffles me till this very day, because I was told that I fought tooth and nail, with anybody that dares to call me any name other than BabaOlowo, with the exception of my late grandma “Iya Agba” who calls me “Oko mi” (my husband), whenever she’s not calling me BabaOlowo. She believed in my innocent dreams and she shared it even when others felt it was a joke, she was always telling me of my conquest to come, maybe it was because she was childlike already, a 100 years old when I came to be and she left in June 2005 at a tender age of 120 years Old. So strong, so beautiful, I think will tell you about her in a subsequent post I titled “The Women of My Life”.

I believe it all started when the subconscious me that is readily embedded in every two years old broke into the timeless, limitless realm of understanding to discover the real value and purpose of money. Coins in those days was the physical manifestation of this legal tender my young brain could comprehend, so I was told that I created the BabaOlowo the world is about to see, feel and experience, by operating on potent principles that still works till this very day. My mum told me that I would rather save my coins in my pocket until it gets robust and starts to jingle than spend it on Biscuits and Chocomilo like every other toddler of my age, she said the epitome of it was my willingness to give it to her on grounds of investments with the hope of multiplication rather than for toys, cloths or stuffs that attract like other kids of my age. I think I learnt the Babylonian law of purse fattening too early in my subconscious and was practicing it without having a complete understanding of what I was doing. I lost this while learning the ways of the western world, got it all mixed up and confused along the way just like “Piano and Drums” by Gabriel Okara, I misplaced priority but now I got it back and I am glad I did. Quite a flick, but not too bad for a young man who is a special blend of Martin, Rocky and spiced with a little bit of Sparky (Why You Act The Way You Do by Tim Lahaye), Jesus found me and I am glad he did.

Not that I wasn't a normal kid, I ate a lot of chocolates and biscuits as a little Pikin, but I seldom buy them with my own kobos, my dad was always the special source and my priority was getting a fat pocket, a good habit I kept even in my weak drinking days, I never bought drinks with my own money although I drank a lot of it dubbing myself a social drinker, an excuse for drinking i guess, I was always saving but also miss-investing, (Bo se wa lo se lo).

I am really a testimony kind of kid, always on the extreme. I started speaking before I was a year old, and I had confirmations that I actually spoke my first meaningful statement when I was just 40days old, a world record I hold in my personal Guinness Book of World Records. I’ve got other stuffs in it; you can mail me if you want to find out what I said on my 40th day anniversary.

Iya Agba was my natural source for the starting capital, I scour up all loose coins I can find in her “Suku”, put it in my pocket and the almost daily routing of purse fattening begins. I add up every other coin I can lay my hands from my mum, keep every other coins I get from her friends that never stopped coming, her customers who can’t help admiring the young handsome replica of his dad and my friends who kept calling at her shop (every little child get to hang out with older friends) and some other people who just kept giving just to watch me at the end of the day do my thing. I keep every kobo in a single pocket to ensure that the pocket gets fat enough in good time in order to create the required jingling effect, then I come all out and tell everyone that cares to listen that hey! Emi Ni BabaOlowo! And when they ask why; all I do is show them my fat pocket and make it jingle saying it louder and clearer, Emi Ni BabaOlowo, I am the Richman!

I guess these sounds like a normal childhood tale, like a joke but believe there is more to it. I also felt quite like that the first time I heard it but after reading through
Numbering 001 and Number 002 by Deolu and applying this principles to this events as they occurred in my life, their times and dates in a bid to number my days and define their significance and purpose, I noticed some interesting clue, and learnt some worthwhile lessons that are quite invaluable and a leeway to embracing my now and the future that lies ahead of me. The lessons I learnt are built around the hidden man of the heart and persistence and I hope you also can have a lick of it.

My dad was 40years old (4x10) when I was born and I came to be the fifth of six children making it a perfect family of seven (my mum and dad are one, let nobody break it), I am 4years and 4days older than my little sister and I was born on the 16th day (4x4) of April (4th month), christened with exactly four names, spoke exactly 40days (4x10) after I was born and as the 5th child I added a 5th name, “BabaOlowo” the revelation I got in my subconscious when I was just 2years old, and the summation of my age now gives me a five.

Two numbers kept reoccurring and number two symbolizes Intensity, testimony or confirmation and also symbolizes full compensation, MENe MENe, it as to be two when God wants to establish a fact. The two numbers that kept reoccurring are four and five.

4. Four is the number of worldwide extension and balance; I was 40days old when the first sign came, my dad was 4x10, and I was born 4x4th day of the 4th month, 4years 4days older than my lil sis and more. I’ve got the No.4 in common with Deolu, he also came on the 4th day of the 8th month (4x2=4+4) and when anything secures 4 bases, it’s balanced and empowered to go global.

5. Five is the other prominent number of the pair and the number of Grace, favour, distinction. I am the 5th child with 5 names and the summation of my age now gives me 5. David picked 5 stones when he learnt that Goliath had four other brothers that were like him (one for each), a spectacular display of faith in God, back with the pleasant assurance of God’s favour and presence. All he needed to claim the victory for the people of God was the fifth stone and the battle was won with a single shot, I am the fifth son, the Fifth Element (I guess you’ve watched the movie) the most important ingredient, rare like Boron and element of distinction, placed at the vantage point by God and all that is need to claim the victory for the people of God, operating in the covenant against every uncircumcised Philistine that stands against the army of God. tHE One thing I LEARNT is the fact that we all have the 5th element hidden within us, all we need to do is dig it out. Five is the number of Letters in Jesus’ name and the letters in the Olowo are just five.

There are other instances of the significance of numbers that I discovered while numbering my days, but I chose to layout this few ones to arouse more stance in the mind of the readers. One thing I know for surely is that I was in my mms womb for 9months, a perfect gift from God and I have the 4 thing written all over me. I know that I will be a billionaire, and by the time I am 40years old, I will be worth N400 billion. A Naira will be worth 4x a dollar by then and Naija will be the center stage for everything that matters all around the world. Think i'm a joke then you don't know about the New Nigeria Club and you are still decade away from the real world. if you know what I know, you no go fit doubt me.

I am world’s greatest, don’t ask me why, say what you think!

This is the story, my mama told me and I will tell you more of the things I learnt from my childhood in my next post, a continuation of this one, and how you and I can apply it to become the desire of God for the world to see!
