2014 The Year of Intent -- (The Revised Standard Version)

It's 2014 already, the long awaited 2014 in Nigeria. The last time a year like this was seen was 2010 and it was indeed a swell year of unbelievable manifestation. For some very good reasons, I feel disheartened by the newest trend of PDP politicians deflecting to APC, and how it is being celebrated as if it is a change of anything at all. It is still "Same of The Same" like Uncle Jimi Agbaje described it in 2006/2007 elections. It can only be liked unto a banker wearing suit and tie from Monday to Thursday, and putting a casual attire on a Friday, it is still the same banker, the same bank and that doesn't change the quality of service, lending rate on a loan, interest on deposit or trust. It's just an illusion of appearance, a shedding of skin. It is the same snake, probably with a deadlier venom than the last bite you and I survived, and definitely with a stronger predatory skill because that comes naturally with experience. Thank God the two term tenure is not Political Party dependent, governance would have automatically turned to traditional title and only Jagaban would have ruled Lagos under AC for eight years, ACN for eight, APC for another eight, LP for four and would have gladly joined the PDP he openly condemns for another jolly ride if he's not dead from cancer or stroke by then, and his burial decorated with different flags of the same colours, arranged in different patterns and probably with a broom design on his tombstone.

I was saddened by the comment of Femi Fani-kayode (FFK) on the lackluster declaration of the victory of APC in Sokoto state by Wamako when 27 of the 30 state legislators decamped to APC but I am not surprised. FFK said

"…I have to agree with Gov. Wamakko when he officially declared the PDP as being "dead" in Sokoto state earlier today. The power of the great evil that has gripped our land is fast waning. Soon we shall be rid of it forever."

The simple question I want to ask FFK is this, since he claims to be a Christian:
1.       Did the devil stopped being evil when his name was changed from Lucifer to Satan? I bet he got worst.
2.       Will the unproductive legislators start producing result just by throwing their umbrellas away to grab a broom?
3.       Is it the change of name or the change of heart that makes a man a changed person?
4.       Is FFK himself a man of his words, with the interest of the everyday Nigerian at heart? because NOW I'm sure he's just like the others, IBB, OBJ, MB, BAT, GEJ, ETC…

If FFK could say the grip of the great evil is fast waning just because the evil is changing camp or name, Nigerians need to pray and act in this year of intent because you and I know the answers to this questions.  It is the year of intent anyway, even a fool will deem himself wise.

Very very soon, ministers, commissioners, permanent secretaries and other top public office holders will start leaking information about each other to discredit one another, in other to furnish their aspirations to get nominations for elevated appointments and elected positions in government and public offices, beware! because if they can trade their friends, partners, colleagues and even foes on the altar of hypocrisy to lobby with the godfathers for political nominations and appointments, be sure that their manifesto (the normal ranting and discrediting of the opposition party held every three to four years at strategic locations across Nigeria) is just a show of shame. They don't have your interest in their head not to now imagine at heart, a fatter pocket is all they seek, and the luxury of the Middle East and Caribbean's is their real motivation; not any of the things on the "To Do" list they are presenting to you, it was the same list their predecessors presented four years ago, and their grand-predecessor twelve years before (don't dull, it's an eight  years tenure and this is the fifteenth year of Nigerian democracy). The accusation of letter leaking between GEJ and CBN governor Sanusi is just the beginning.

I will be sad again if by the end of 2015, people start coming out to say "THEY LIED TO US". This is the time for us to educate ourselves on what we want and how we are going to get it. This is the year of intent, so indicate your interest, participate, contest, vote, define your choice and choose without fear or loyalty to tribe, religion or culture. Let's not sit on the sideline again and watch things go wrong again and again. If you do, a man like FFK will get richer because he's gradually establishing himself in the APC, although he was from the PDP and he will continue to show you a sword and tell you it's a broom until you actually see a broom and wouldn't duck  when he swings it at your head.

Stella Oduah vs. Sahara Reporters -- Season IV

The notoriety of the Sahara Reporters to the government of Nigeria is gradually gaining more venom by the minute and need I say, "I am enjoying every minute of it"  even if Ms. Stella Oduah is not.

It all started with the uncovering of her bullet proof garage a few months ago.  The Sahara Reporters (SR) report had so much facts in it that the culprit "Oduah" needed not be taken to any court, and would have been hanged the next day in places like People’s Republic of China, Vietnam, South Korea, Taiwan or Singapore but thank God she's a Nigerian living in Nigeria and dining with the corrupt kings of the land. The last time I checked, she's still the Aviation Minister, using tax payers money to largesse, riding Limousines and Black "bullet proof" BMWs with a primary job description of maintaining the Presidential Air Fleet (PAF) of 10 aircrafts, while tax payers queue at the airports across the nation, waiting to board one of the forty four aircrafts manage by the eight airline companies in the country. Mind you, thirty five of this is owned by Arik (23) and AeroContractor (12), while the remaining nine is manage by six companies. The ratio seems perfect PAF 10 aircraft : 1 President while the whole of Nigeria minus Governors, Politicians and Billionaires who can afford Private Jets (PJ) gives us, 44 aircraft : 159 Million Nigerians, and sometimes those that can't afford the PJ chattered this planes, making the queue longer and the flight delays, even worst. What a friend we have in Stella, I heard she's making the queuing area more comfortable, buying chairs and installing air conditioners while the nation prides in the lack of a National Carrier. "Yèyé!".

In an attempt to keep the honourable in her ministerial title, amidst the shame of squandering and embezzling of national earning from sales of Nigerian resources (crude oil, gas, water, air and even slaves) and tax payers money on luxury on luxury and selfish pursuit of glamour, she faked her own death in an attempt to justify her inhumanness and flagrant waste of unallocated resources.

Sometimes in November 2013, The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Altienne Daniel, said...

“The incident was reported to us on Monday at exactly 5.45pm and we are subjecting the metallic object we recovered from the car to ballistic test. I can’t say whether the object is a bullet or not. So I can’t give you any information on it for now.”

How do you describe a situation where men of the Nigerian police saw a metallic object where the Aviation Minister Stella Oduah claimed her car was shot at three times, but they don't think what they saw is a bullet? What they saw was one metal object, her claims were three shots, the BMW must have swallowed up the shells. Even my late grandma that lived her youths in the years of dane-guns knows what a bullet shell looks like in her grave. Imagine one single Stella, exhausted her vehicular allocations on Limousines instead of utility trucks and buses, borrowed money from a bank illegally in the name of the Ministry of Aviation to the tune of N650m plus interest, inflated the value of the BMWs and even gave a false profile of the vehicles she purchased and hinged the servicing of the loan on the account of the ministry and SR was there, throwing out all the details of the scheme without fear.

"This SR people sef, make una leave her alone ooo!, you can remove the honourable but she will always be a ndigbo princess from Akili-Ozizor, Amambra state."

As if what SR uncovered already was not enough, they reported that claims in Oduah’s profile on the Federal Ministry of Aviation’s website that Stella obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from St. Paul’s College in Lawrenceville, Virginia in 1982, is false. This allegation was confirmed by authorities at the college. The President of the institution, Pete Stith, confirmed that the college had not at any time offered any graduate programme of any kind, and is not sure if indeed Oduah, bagged a first degree in Accounting from the institution. I wasn't surprised because there was a time one of her colleagues lied about undergoing the compulsory NYSC programme, and I can still hear the Toronto Tinubu bells ringing, but I was amazed at the speed with which she confirmed the truth in the story.

On the next day of the allegation, she was quick to remove the St. Paul’s College completely as her school on Facebook, and similar modifications were made to her Wikipedia, leaving just the lies about studying in the USA, and also removing links to interviews she personally granted where she admitted obtaining degrees from St. Pauls’ College. Even in the worst of nations, any public office holder with so much skeleton in her front door will automatically resign or have her appointment withdrawn by the government, pending proper investigation and confirmation of the allegations, and perhaps prosecution, but here she's still addressed as a "Honourable Minister" and I am almost sure there will be no such actions under the GEJ administration, even more odious crimes with glaring evidence of corruption has been swept under the Aso Rock in recent times. I remember Farouq negotiating with Otedola recently, Deziani must be somewhere chilling and the last time I checked, there is absolutely nothing sure about the SURE-P, ask Okonjo Iweala, she will tell you it is the fault of the cabal, while Sanusi will be quick to tell you, it's Islamic banking or the removal of the face of Herbert Macaulay from the one Naira coin that will save Nigeria. I even heard on radio that laws are being enacted against reporting of corruption online and through social media platforms. SR beware!

Now that we are more than sure that our divorcee Princess Stella Oduah, "the former minister of aviation" (prophesy) is a complete fraud, I have one more assignment for SR to complete this stellar series. We are sure she didn't attend St. Paul College, let alone graduate with any degree. Her father Igwe D.O Oduah, the Igwe of Akili-Ozizor in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State will like to know what her daughter was doing in the USA between 1978-1983. In those years of old, even the Igwe's daughter was sent to school abroad with community and the elders of the community must have celebrate her return, only to find out thirty years later that they celebrated a fraud. I don't know how SR will dig the truth up like they've always done, maybe they will have to travel back in time or do something more interesting to find out what happen, where she was and where in "Oluwole" she got the certificates she presented from.

"Dear Sahara Reporter. The Igwe and the community will like to know, what Stella was doing in Obodo-Oyinbo for five years. The Igwe as spoken" -- *In Pete Edochie's  voice*

Parable of the 7 jets, 11th jet and a 12th ship

Flying on the Wings of Corruption

It sounded like a joke when I watched the video, more like the tale of the "Little Daniel that flew from Benin to Lagos" in the wheels of an Arik aircraft, almost unbelievable but in the end it's always true. I remember reading a report on the Nigerian Presidential Air Fleet (PAF) sometimes in October on the pages of Punch Newspaper… "thank God I found it online too"

According to the report, the PAF’s current staff strength consists of 47 NAF officers, 173 airmen/airwomen and 96 technical and administrative civilians  managing:
Two Falcon 7X jets
Two Falcon 900 jets
A Gulfstream 550
A Boeing 737 BBJ (Nigerian Air Force 001 or Eagle One),
A Gulfstream IVSP
A Gulfstream V,
Cessna Citation 2 aircraft
Hawker Siddley 125-800 jet.
Making it ten in all and the combined estimated value of the PAF is $390.5m (N60.53bn) with at least 15 per cent of this amount spent annually on operating the PAF, it means about $58.57m (N9.08bn ) is being spent annually on running the planes in the Nigerian PAF. Nigeria happens to be one of the few countries in the world with a large PAF. Read it here http://www.punchng.com/news/presidential-fleet-larger-than-three-domestic-airlines

The Kenyan government has only one plane in its PAF; "poor Kenyans". No wonder she couldn't hold it in when she saw seven, I'm glad she knew there are still more though and for her information, GEJ is planning to add fresh flyers to the fleet and I am hoping the new jets will be a black bullet proof Gulfstream or Boeing so Oduah can stop being worried about being shot out of the air since the ground is covered already with black BMWs. http://www.punchng.com/opinion/president-jonathans-11th-private-jet

I read the unintelligent cacophony of Reuben Abati in an attempt to debunk the testimony of the obviously innocent woman who was only overwhelmed by the exhorbitant and deliberate waste of resources by the Nigerian delegate that visited Kenya. Her humorous exasperation was straight out of innocence and bewilderment, the type a Reuben has been denied for years,  unlike the deeply gored core of her visitors that is filled with very wickedness and deceit that Abati is used to and daily defends with lies and colourful dishonesty.

In my opinion, I have this feeling that our shoeless, clueless GEJ is probably competing with Davido. Davido gets a new G-Wagon and as the president, he wants a new plane too, probably a suggestion by the first lady, I am sure Dame has a hand in this one, GEJ alone cannot think up such an elaborate plan to outshine my favourite son, Davido. Somewhere in my head, I can hear a Dame designating planes to different destinations, something  like "This one they call Gulfstream, we will drive it to Lagos when you want to go and play golf".

The Nigerian governance landscape as degenerated to its lowest ebb ever, and with the way things are going, soon there will be no dignity or dignifying element left in the system. Governance as been personalized and state resources turned to inheritance that can be blown away at will. Nobody is accountable to anybody, corrupt practices has been adopted as the norm and to be honest is tagged stupidity and decried with steep actions. With the executive, legislative and judiciary arm of government harmed to the teeth with crooked men and women that wield no iota of respect to the will of the people, "things can only get better" is my confession. Buying more plans to buff the PAF up is not just a result of insensitivity to the needful, but more of an attempt to stay in the air, away from the stench of the decay caused by their corrosive corrupt activities.

I am not surprised or fazed by all of this because I am sure that change is imminent, my only fear is that Davido should not decide to by a private jet before 2014 ends, it sounds like a joke but I am almost certain the presidency will order presidential yacht or ship, just to stay one step ahead of Davido.

RE: Nigeria in 2014 Fact Versus Fiction

As much as I would love to agree with Reno that his claims are valid, even if it is just a tad valid, in this piece http://premiumtimesng.com/opinion/152670-nigeria-2014-fact-versus-fiction-reno-omokri.html I am sure his outburst is not for the sake of many impoverished and suffering Nigerians caught in the middle of politicking and the deception games of Nigerian politicians. I read the and understood every line of this long epistle about APC and PDP, but to what end is his arguments? To garner support for GEJ in 2015 or to pre-inform us that both parties APC and PDP is still the same team? We already know so we can seek a presidential candidate from Mars.

It's interesting to know that "In 2011 President Jonathan Promised to Build Schools for Itinerant Scholars in The North Known as Almajiri. As at Today, 123 Almajiri Model Schools Equipped With Malam's Quarters, Hostels, Qu'ranic Recitation Hall and Science Laboratories Have Been Completed While 277 Are Awaited" but the question is... What are the so-called Almajiris still being taught in facilities built with tax payers money? Northern and Islamic supremacy in a more comfortable environment, with more facilities to get creative at it. I have lived in Northern Nigeria and I have taught in the system with a firsthand experience with the products of the Almajiri system, it is not where they are taught that is the problem, it is what is being placed in the subconscious of this children under the guise of Islamic studies so creating a more conducive environment is like passing gasoline down to hell, we will end up with more sophisticated Shekau and probably more informed extremists to deal with.

My grandma is rummoured to be 128 years old, we have facts to back that up but no documents, the deductions was made from the age of her last sibling who died 11years ago at the age of 92. He had a recorded birth so we knew how old he was when he passed on but I don't think it was the improvement on life by GEJ recorded at 52years which is light years away from 128 that has kept my sweet grandma alive.

How come it is only ABC transport that saw the roads built by GEJ?
Who attends the new universities and where do the graduates go to work after they graduate from them?
I heard something about the railway and am sure Reno has been to Kano or Kaduna recently, did he patronize the railroads or used a private jet?
What is the outcome of the privatization of NEPA so far...more blackout and less responsibility for the Nigerian government?.. Tony Elemelu must be smiling somewhere right now
I have lost more female friends to childbirth in the last 3years of my life, none in the preceding 7 years before 2010 and I've had so many God children, the oldest will be 10 this November so my friends didn't just start giving birth all of a sudden, I wonder where Reno got his doctored child birth mortality index from?
I remember a hailing coach Tella won the cadet competition under a sickly president Yar Adua so I will assume our GEJ is sick somehow, physically or upstairs if that's what he's got to show as a promise kept.
Reno should get his facts right, heart surgery had been carried out in LASUTH since the day of Yar Adua and even CNN knows. How come the first was in 2013 when Dr. Bode Falase confirmed 13 success stories as at March 2010 here in Lagos state on LASUTH facility. Here is a link to the news in 2010 march health journal.  http://nigerianhealthjournal.com/?p=123  Abeg we need fresher lies.
Reno claims "3 Million Jobs Have  Been Created in the Agriculture Value Chain Since 2011", lies from the pit of PDP. Even plus the cows that pulls the plow in Jigawa and Yobe, there is no way in hell 100,000 jobs had been created in those years. All agricultural installations in Nigeria combined as not produced even 1 million bags of produce (rice, beans, millet, wheat and everything combined) not even 1 million livestock so it's impossible for 3 million people in the agricultural system to be so under productive, even a chicken lays more eggs.

I know it is just a barrage on APC by PDP to parade their inconsistencies, but this in no way justifies the demonic, unproductive, ill-fated, chauvinistic, disgusting, incongruous show the PDP as given Nigerians in the last 14years. Permit me to say that will all the evidences of corruption thrown in our eyes daily, from the Farouq Lawani's of committee on subsidy thieves vs Otedola aka Okonjo Eweala's "cartel", to the Diezani Alison-Madueke pyramid, to the recent bullet proof BMW, the only conviction the EFCC as managed to get is against a LAUTECH 24years old yahoo boy… That should shown with shinning light on GEJ anti-corruption campaign dossier. Here is a SR report on it in case EFCC or GEJ needs something to reference http://saharareporters.com/press-release/efcc-press-release-court-jails-undergraduate-3-years-love-scam or probably borrow from Linda Ikeji http://lindaikeji.blogspot.com/2013/01/mercedes-benz-suv-range-rover-sport.html I don’t think they got conviction for this one yet though, but Reno should have included it in PDP/GEJ's defense.

The truth is definitely staring us in the eyes because we see it daily, men like Reno should be stoned at sight for coming out to point crooked fingers at crooks like him. I wonder how such men wake up in the morning and look at their own children, hoping that someday something good will come out of their mottled investments… Maybe we should start ignoring this our politicians so that they will know the show is over already, we should start working on us and allow them fall by their own counsel. Our anger and discontent should be transmuted into ideas on how to encourage, empower and strengthen the youths and young powers out there on the streets that knows nothing about Linda Ikeji, Babatunde Rosanwo, Sahara Reporters or even Blogs, Facebook or Twitter but determines who win or loose in every election by virtue of strength, number and force.
This youths are worst than unknown soldiers, impatient enough to ever send a text, whose use of a phone is for calls and calls alone. Young Nigerians by nature but of a different breed by nurture and torture. Youths whose only experience or feeling as been either hunger or anger, who only understand the universal language money and will do the bidding of who ever brings it their way, saint or sinner. We see them every day and look at them with disdain because they are hardened and unkept and the stench of "paraga" and "alomo" that fills their breathe wouldn't make even allow us looking in the direction of their burnt brown wry smile. Men like Tinubu, OBJ, GEJ and Co control the men that control this youths and a man like Jagaban even wields more control because he's closer and even walks their mist when the occasion calls for it. We call them "Eru-Iku" (Death's slaves) here in Lagos, they are bred in thousands in Northern through the Almajiri system and finer classrooms will not change the products, the South definitely have a pseudo for this machineries and a Dokubo should know the word the East is not without them too because hunger and anger is universal in Nigeria courtesy past rulership and PDP's continuity of a legacy of decay and destruction.

While we are here on twitter and BBM monitoring the elections or ranting away at the ills of the ailing government and rulers in power, they are out there snatching ballot boxes in the name of PDP, APGA, APC and any other "P" you can think of, or rather hoping to win big at the lotto stand not interested in whether it's a leader or ruler, productive or as dormant as Olumo rock.  While we are few and learned, existing more powerfully in this virtual world of the internet, they are plenty, many and more than the numbers of the sand at the beach, real and ready to die for 1000 naira because they have not much to live for. The good news is whoever brings food and money first wins their loyalty, who ever brings value to the table first in any form controls their action. I know this much because I came from the real world, "Dagrin" called it dirty Lagos and I know there is a dirty, Abuja, Rivers, Kano, Kaduna and even NewYork… but unlike the dirty NY, the numbers are unfavorable here in Nigeria, the dirty is a million times more than the Lekki Lagos but can be managed and controlled with less millions than Lekki requires and with more value propositions if properly planned. Afterall, it is hunger and not bad roads that breeds the anger so with filled bellies, even the roughest terrain will seem a bit more pleasant to walk.

My goals are set and I am not planning to do it alone, but will do it alone if that's the only way. My target is the street not Tinubu and he will never have the level of loyalty I have earned on the streets of Ipaja and given more, I will be stronger than clueless GEJ clones running my LCDA. My plan is to work more with the strength of the street and use it to ensure that it is who we vote for that sits on the throne and not who they pay for. With time and better hold on the forces that really and truly determines the success of every election on the street, we will be able to influence who is selected to represent from a party and in the nearest future we will hopefully have a level playing where those will genuine interest will be elected at primaries and not selected. As for me, my target is the foundation, and with time we will build strong walls and get to the point where the roof will not just be a shinny sheet, but a layer that protects and shields the populace from the storm along with a wall of credible people in the different arms and level of leadership and government.

Our nation is the hardware, the people are the firmware and the core of the people is the software. My aim is to write a rich software that is generic and structured backend and a simple, secured algorithm that will be self upgrading with time, knowledge and civilization and probably requires only a few patches being run as it is perfected across generations.
